DUTIES

:

Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts. Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for electrical installations and materials. Evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor claims. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with relevant terms and conditions. Prepare progress valuations, variation orders, and final accounts. Support project teams with cost reporting, cash flow management, and profitability tracking. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on scope, cost, and timelines. Conduct site visits for measurement verification and cost assessments. Support procurement planning and material cost optimization. Ensure accurate and timely project reporting and documentation. Management of Junior QS.

REQUIREMENTS:

ND/BTECH in Quantity Surveying Minimum 5-10 years' experience Experience in pricing MV/HV projects Estimating/QS experience in construction projects CCS and QTO Valid Code B or Higher Drivers License

KPA'S:

Project Estimation Support

- Preparing accurate and reliable tender cost estimates.

Stakeholder Communication

- Drive the development and maintenance of strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders.

Tender Process

- Aid in the management and administration of the tendering process, including compiling documentation and evaluating submissions.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with the procurement and commercial teams, contributing to a high-performing, collaborative work environment.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of the electrical field. Knowledge of engineering science and technology. Knowledge of building and construction.
