Job Summary
Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy on a high-impact energy storage project in South Africa. We're looking for a Quality Officer to join a groundbreaking Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiative as it enters the construction phase.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a national infrastructure development effort, working across three active project sites within close proximity to one another in the Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site quality inspections and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015
Support and monitor the implementation of QMS across all project phases
Maintain quality documentation and reporting systems
Liaise with site teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality objectives are met
Identify and assist in resolving non-conformances
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 5 years' on-site experience in the construction industry
Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards
Willingness to work across multiple construction sites
Valid driver's license
Preferred Background:
Experience in large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, such as:
Power stations
Solar farms or battery storage facilities
Mining or water utility infrastructure
