Quality Manager (mechanical Engineering)

This highly specialised Engineering Firm has established itself as the market leader through its drive for excellence and advanced technical solutions. Here's an opportunity for a Quality Manager with a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Welding Qualification to take ownership of the integrated Business Management System (BMS) and ensure quality is embedded in every aspect. This isn't a policing role - it's about building a culture where quality is second nature, driving proactive assurance, and keeping certifications rock solid. You'll manage a small core team and work closely with inspectors across sites, ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Mechanical Engineering degree with a Welding Qualification
- 10 years of experience within a similar role
- Strong background in Quality Management, auditing, and assurance in manufacturing/engineering
- Experience leading teams and coordinating across multiple sites
- Knowledge of BMS and ISO standards, with a proven track record in maintaining certifications
- Excellent reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to inspire trust and embed quality as a way of working, not just compliance
