Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound quality control (Receiving) Packaging & Handling oversight Pre shipment QC & Dispatch readiness Team Management & Training Data Reporting & Continuous improvement Health & Safety Compliance
Experience and Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field 5 + years of experience in a QC or QA role, with at least 2 years in a warehouse or distribution environment within the furniture, home goods or consumer products industry High attention to details with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiar with damage control, returns analysis and packaging optimization Deep knowledge of furniture construction, upholstery, natural materials, and finishing techniques Experience with quality standards, inspection tools, and warehouse management systems (WMS or ERP) Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Skills
Visual inspection and attention to aesthetic detail Root cause analysis and issue resolution Hands on knowledge of furniture handling and assembly Collaboration with cross-functional teams Leadership and coaching of operational staff Quality data reporting and decision-making
