Job Description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Assist with the development of quality system processes, program status indicators, performance measurements and reporting requirements. Assist with conducting internal audits according to ISO 9001:2015. Apply sound systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritising, communicating and resolving quality issues. Assist with compiling and updating PFMEAs, quality control plans and process qualifications. Assist with supplier complaints and qualifications. Collaborate in the reviewing of process inspection-data and prepare statistical and operational performance reports. Provide trending analysis on quality issues and performance metrics. Assist with the control of non-conforming items during development and series production. Support in product and process evaluations to identify areas for improvement and continuous improvement projects. Demonstrate sound knowledge of engineering principles. Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM. Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.


WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

POST REQUIREMENTS:

BEng/BTech/BSc in Chemical Engineering or NQF 7 equivalent qualification. Strong team collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of experts. Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. A flexible analytical thinker with thoroughness and tenacity. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, show initiative and demonstrate good judgement. Fully computer literate (all MS Office packages).
