Our client has an opportunity available for a Quality Engineer.

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree.
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience related to the automotive sector would be advantageous.
• Manufacturing experience- essential.
• Must have knowledge and experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEAs, SPCs, as well as IATF 16949:2016.
• Computer Literacy- essential.
• Knowledge on how to navigate CAD Software.
• Understanding of 2D/3D Technical Drawings.
• Basic Programme Management Tracking Skills.
• 3+ years' experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in Injection moulding would be advantageous.

• Develop sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Lead Activity to analyse and to solve customer issues and develop corrective action at manufacturer.
• Be pro-actively involved in identifying and leading the improvement process and promote its use within the manufacturer.
• Actively identify and promote continuous improvement, Quality Circles and 5S activities.
• Act as a customer representative and customer support contact.
• Root Cause analysis for Customer QPR's as well as internal QPR's.
• Work with production to consolidate monthly report to Head office.
• Submit Monthly SDS to the customer and ensure suppliers submit SDS timeously monthly.
• Support the Production department in meeting Quality requirements.
• Lead Customer Warranty investigations and report findings.
• Conduct Internal and Supplier Audits when applicable.
• ECI management for Quality department.
• Conduct trials for new projects.
• Attend Projects meetings and ensure readiness for Quality requirements.
• Prepare SQAM Documents.
