Job Summary QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS (Essential unless otherwise indicated) Grade 12 Trade test with a minimum of N4 Engineering Certificate. EXPERIENCE (Essential unless otherwise indicated) Minimum of three (3) years operational artisan, post qualification, experience Minimum of two (2) years operational quality control experience in a Supply Chain environment Total of 5 years' experience required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Basic user of MS Office and JD Edwards or equivalent Company policies and procedures Working knowledge of all relevant policies and procedures Communication Communicate with internal and external customers. Mutilingual Writes in a clear and concise manner, style, and language for the reader. Quality orientation Shows awareness of goals and standards Follows through to ensure that quality and productivity standards are met. Planning and organizing Ability to plan and allocate work. Commercial awareness Understand impact on business. Customer relations Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Technical Basic comprehension of first line maintenance related activities Administration General administration and accurate data capturing KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: To manage quality of items purchased according to specifications and standards. To ensure correct specification of stock items. To address audit requirements and maintenance of stock items, which includes but are not limited to: Inspection of critical spares received. Technical assistance for procurement Supplier evaluation Compiling of service level agreements Cataloguing of stock items Maintenance management Technical assistance for category managers SHERQ adherence Work Ethics
