Quality Controller / Inspector
Job Description
RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced QUALITY CONTROLLER / INSPECTOR for a well-established concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Relevant Quality Management qualification/s.
Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Ability to implement a credible quality control system on the shopfloor.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
3-5 years practical experience, applying quality / ISO principles in an engineering / manufacturing environment.
Thorough understanding of quality management principles and controls.
Understanding of process flows, and production processes.
Experience in HVAC technology, or similar background would be advantageous.
Ability to interact and communicate at all levels, including customers, agents, shopfloor and management.
Excellent management / supervisory skills, to control subordinates within the area of responsibility.
Individual must be well disciplined and structured, to ensure that the quality system is operation and controlled on the shopfloor, at all times.
