Quality Control Inspector

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the workshop to inspect and measure all machined components
- Create accurate dimensional inspection sheets for components
- Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary
- Demonstrate knowledge of machine surface finishes, datum points, and references
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand manufacturing drawings
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Previous experience in a machine shop environment
- Familiarity with operating various machines (lathes, vertical boring machines, milling machines, etc.)
- Proficiency in using both analog and digital measuring equipment
- Understanding of machine surface finishes and references
- Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
