Job Summary Join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist and work on cutting-edge projects! The full-time position is available now. Prep new enterprise equipment. Dell ,HP, Nutanix servers, storage, Tape Drives Verification of BOM. CTO(Configure to build orders)-Ensure components are installed correctly for optimum performance. Communicate with procurement, solutions and sales team if any queries. Check/download current firmware version from HP enterprise site and implement. Escalate to Vendors if DOA/Faulty equipment. Repair of faulty equipment if required. Save configuration files. Run Diagnostics. QC equipment as per BOM. Make copies of licenses. Save configuration files, firmware and test files on our server(including copies of licenses) Notify all parties on completion of prep work. Notebooks and Desktops Assist with preparation. Install components and testing of equipment. Escalate to Vendors if DOA/Faulty equipment. QC Equipment Manage workshop calls. Follow up on internal calls logged. Assist with internal calls. Escalations if required. Prepare daily reports. Asset Management Assessment of equipment coming in from users. Provide feedback(Health status, configuration ,serial number, Asset Tag number) to Procurement and Finance . Return stock to stores Loan/Demo Equipment Prepare loan/demo document as per request from Procurement. Query with Procurement if loan period expired. Test equipment when received from client and report to Procurement. MTN Orders Communicate with Distributors on orders placed. Onsite inspection on process to be followed including asset tag and box label placement. Follow up with Distributor sales/production team to meet deadlines. Inform our procurement if any delays. Provide assets tags. Request asset tags from MTN via our procurement team if required. QC net trace files sent by Distributor Receive spreadsheet from Distributors which include s/n, asset tag numbers and description. Prepare spreadsheet to create box labels. Send box labels and Aptronics delivery note to Distributor. Send s/n spreadsheet to Nettrice copy sales and procurement Save net trace files, spreadsheet on server. Qualifications Required: Grade 12 HPE Standard ProLiant and Blade Server Service and Solution Qualification Gen10 UEFI ROM for HPE ProLiant Servers and HPE Synergy-Service and Support WBT HPE Synergy Overview Industry Standard Architecture and Technology Introduction to HPE Server Options HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus HPE Gen10 ProLiant Family Technical Training Qualifications Preferred: xc3x82 HP Commercial and Consumer Desktops Workstations and Notebooks Service HP Certified Chromebook Service Qualification Experience Required: Function-related experience:xc3x82 3 - 5 Years Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Work Environment: Onsite - Randburg Travel: Own vehicle essential
