Key Outputs

Implementation and maintaining the quality ISO quality systems in Middelburg.

Conduct quality system training for all BWE employees.

Ensuring compliance of the quality management system.

Perform internal and external quality compliance audits.

Develop documentation within the quality system where required.

Perform internal contamination control audits.

Work with sections to compile CC action plans.

Provide CC training Transfer knowledge to colleagues.

Comply to Company and customer safe work practices.

Maintain professional image when representing BWE on customer site.

Extend Quality system and Contamination to MARC sites.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Grade 12 or equivalent

Qualified in relevant trade, within the Earth moving sector (exposure to Workshop and Field service operations)

National diploma in operational risk management will be an advantage

Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in a Mining and Construction environment.

Some supervisory / Managerial experience will be an advantage.

Good knowledge, understanding and exposure of the ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and ISO 18000 ISO (formal qualification can be an advantage)

Certified in quality, risk and safety management (i.e. ISO 9000, 14000 & 18000)(will be an advantage)

Be Able to implement, maintain and update quality system documentation.

Good understanding and exposure of the contamination control system within a Mining and Construction environment (must be able to conduct CC internal reviews).

Good communication skills to provide training on quality and contamination systems.

Good report writing skills

Good Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office package) and (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge.
