We have an exciting job opportunity for a Quality Assurance Auditor, based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban.

We are looking for an energetic, hard-working team player who loves learning and wants to positively contribute in our strategy to improve quality standards within our business.

Role and Responsibilities



Quality auditing of goods across a wide spectrum of products. Understanding of patterns grading and garment construction. Compliant in the fit development process from first fit to production. Reporting back to the supplier or factory in a clear and concise manor. With recommendations on how to repair if needed. Liaising with Suppliers and Garment Technologists on quality issues. Excellent understanding of AQL standards, fabric reports, construction and pattern making. Monitoring of quality issues arising at the supplier, and mentoring for improvement. Data capturing all audits. Able to manage workload and appointments.

Requirements:



Clothing manufacturing experience in a factory environment as well as retail. Minimum of 3-5 years quality auditing experience. Code 8 drivers license.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage conflict situations when they arise. High attention to detail. High energy and drive. AQL knowledge. Computer literate. Service orientated and results driven. Ability to work independently. Ability to do store visits and provide feedback.
