The Quality Control Technician will assist the quality laboratory with the development, application and maintenance of quality standards for processes, materials and products at the a.b.e manufacturing plant in Isipingo

• Develop and initiate standard and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation
• Assist the QC Management in developing and maintaining the ISO9001 procedures and work instruction for the QC laboratory
• Establish program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment, testing, measurements, analytical equipment and facilities
• Test product and record data concerning materials and product according to the ISO9001 quality system
• Assist in maintaining the calibration requirements for the QC laboratory
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of the QC laboratory
• Maintain production records accordingly
• Comply with SHE of the organization and ensure good housekeeping practices
• Routine process and production check
• All other scientific testing relevant to the Construction and Construction Chemicals Industry
• Must be willing to and have the aptitude to study further and undergo various training programmers as determined by the company.
• All such duties and/or activities assigned by management/board as and when required.
