Job Description
We are looking for a Logistics person handling purchasing and store management.
Industry: Aeronautical
Position: Purchasing & Storekeeping
Location: Pretoria - Gauteng
Salary: R10-15,000 (depending on experience)
Closing: 08 September 2023
Introduction:
Our client in the aeronautical industry specialises in the production, service, repair and manufacturing of non-type aircraft. They are looking for a Logistics person handling purchasing and store management.
Primary Purpose of the Position:
- Monitoring stock levels
- Placing orders with vendors
- Tracking orders
- Updating order records
- Receiving stock
- Maintaining and organising stores
- Thorough understanding of aircraft parts and fibre glass materials
- Previous experience in store management
- Detail-oriented with a mechanical understanding
- Good physical abilities as the job requires lifting, bending and carrying of components
- Non-smoker / non-vaper
