Job Description
Implement effective negotiation strategies to close deals with the best possible purchase prices.
Lead and partake in strategic sourcing activities from supply chain to fixed costs of the business.
Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
Update and manage procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Grade: 12 Matric Certificate Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.
Skills:
Energetic and change / improvement focused. Flexible, active and forward thinking. Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills. Must possess management and leadership skills with emphasis on leading and motivating staff. Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail
Experience:
Experience in a Managerial role - 5 years Previous automotive experience will be an advantage - 0 year
