PROVINCIAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER

KWAZULU NATAL

The successful candidate will report to the Provincial Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Creating visual content for digital and print that compellingly communicates the brand, vision and values of the Democratic Alliance in KwaZulu Natal
• Being the lead on all design work in the province

Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent
• Relevant tertiary qualification, i.e. Graphic Art/Design or any related creative field
• 2 years experience in a graphic design or related role
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign or experience with similar image and video editing software
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
• Experience in producing accurate, high quality work in line with specific standards
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
• Systematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in more than one language advantageous
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisational abilities
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
• Proven record of initiative, problem solving, and the ability to recognise and implement improvements to systems
• Commitment to the principles, policies, and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
