A leading real estate agency dedicated to providing exceptional property management services to clients across the Garden Route is looking for a Property Rental Agent to join their team.Working hours: 8 to 5 (Mon - Fri)As a Property Rental Agent, you will be responsible for managing rental properties on behalf of property owners and facilitating the rental process for tenants. Your duties will include:

• Conducting property viewings with potential tenants and providing information about available rental properties.
• Screening and qualifying tenants by reviewing rental applications, conducting background checks, and verifying references.
• Negotiating rental agreements and lease terms that are favorable to both landlords and tenants.
• Collecting rental payments and ensuring timely payment processing.
• Coordinating property maintenance and repairs as needed, liaising with contractors and vendors.
• Conducting regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements and maintenance standards.
• Handling tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
• Maintaining accurate records of rental transactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance activities.
• Keeping up-to-date with rental market trends, property regulations, and landlord-tenant laws.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in property management or real estate is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and property management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Benefits:

• R15 000 Basic Salary + Commission (Average of R5k-R10k negotiable)
