About the Role:
Altwork is seeking a dedicated Property Administration Intern to support our operations at City Estate Solutions, as UK based property management company , see more at cityestatesolutions.co.uk . This internship provides an excellent opportunity for an undergraduate or graduate student studying property management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in the management of long lets and serviced accommodation properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant/Guest Onboarding and Offboarding:
Assist in coordinating the onboarding and offboarding process for tenants and guests, including system updates and documentation.
Booking Coordination:
Help manage bookings, check-ins, and guest inquiries across platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
Cleaning and Supplies Management:
Coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure the timely purchasing of supplies for serviced apartments.
Maintenance Coordination:
Assist with the scheduling and documentation of property maintenance, including liaising with contractors and maintaining accurate records.
Invoice Monitoring:
Support the monitoring of contractors' and suppliers' invoices, ensuring proper approval and processing for payment.
Tenant Communications:
Respond to tenant and guest inquiries regarding maintenance and repair issues, and coordinate with contractors to resolve problems.
Utility and Inspection Coordination:
Help ensure access to properties for utility meter readings, inspections, and other statutory requirements.
Database Management:
Assist in creating and maintaining a comprehensive property database that includes documentation of construction, guarantees, tenancy documents, and operations manuals.
Working Hours:
Regular Schedule:
3 days per week, worked Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Property Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Enthusiastic about gaining experience in property management and serviced accommodation.
