Stellenbosch Area - Western Cape:

An established nursery is seeking an experienced, hands-on Propagation Supervisor to oversee propagation operations and ensure consistent quality and production performance. This role combines active involvement in day-to-day propagation work with supervision, planning and quality control.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years' experience in horticulture. Relevant horticulture qualification. Valid driver's licence. Strong computer literacy and planning skills. Good irrigation knowledge. Practical, hands-on approach to work. Sustainability-focused mindset. Reside in Stellenbosch, Helderberg, Northern Suburbs area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Actively participate in propagation activities while supervising the team. Oversee daily propagation operations and workflows. Maintain and enforce quality standards. Plan and monitor production schedules. Manage and monitor propagation-related irrigation systems. Train, guide and support propagation staff. Apply efficient, sustainable propagation practices.
