Our client in the bulk materials handling equipment industry is seeking a Project Sales Engineer to join them in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Develop the customer database with customers that may benefit from company products or services and maximize customer potential.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers, through managing and interpreting their project requirements.
- Sales of products and/or services that best satisfies customer needs in terms of project scope, quality, price and delivery deadlines.
- Assist with negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both the customer and company needs.
- Host technical presentations and demonstrate how the company product / projects and process meet the customer needs.
- Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical colleagues.
- Assist in the design of custom-made products and systems.
- Prepare costing models and mini procurement sheets.
- Prepare the PFDxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s and P&IDs of the projects.
- Prepare accurate detailed project quotes.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Recognized Engineering qualifications
- At least 3 yearsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 experience in similar positions
- Bulk Handling Equipment or systems are advantageous
