Job Role:

The Project and Procurement Engineer is responsible for reviewing and understanding the project requirements and specifications to procure various components of the project.

Tasks Associated with Role: Internal Processes
  • Carry out Fabrication work inspections.
  • Provide Estimates on items for projects.
  • Compile and manage data books for each project.
  • Place orders.
  • Create tracking registers and packages for each project
  • Upkeep of safety file.
  • Follow up with vendors on outstanding orders, invoices, and deliverables.
Tasks Associated with Role: Customer
  • Build and maintain a relationship with all divisions to create a conducive working environment on an ongoing basis within key deadlines.
  • Liaise with external clients to ensure end user satisfaction on an ongoing basis within key deadlines.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with service providers to ensure improved quality of service to meet company objectives on an ongoing basis.
Tasks Associated with Role: Learning and Innovation
  • Attend earmarked internal and external training courses within the agreed timeframe.
  • Improve efficiency through innovative recommendations as agreed to within specified timeframe and reduce time spent on site.
Tasks Associated with Role: Finance
  • Comply with all company and project cost control guidelines and procedures set out in training, all company policies emailed instructions and manager instructions - this includes purchasing, expense claims etc.
  • Process leave and claims on the Sage ESS system according to the HR rules and procedures and policies including required documents such as sick notes
Tasks Associated with Role: Out of Scope Tasks

Perform any additional responsibilities or tasks according to specifications as and when required by EXCO, managers or team members.
