Job Description
Job Summary
:
- Manage the full lifecycle of HVAC projects, with a focus on VRV, VRF, and DX systems
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate site activities, resources, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Prepare, track, and manage project budgets, including costing reports and forecasts
- Assist with claims, pricing variations, and identifying commercial risks
- Work closely with the Head of Projects to achieve profitability targets
- Accurately read and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and technical designs
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards
- Communicate with clients and consultants for inspections, approvals, and project commissioning
- Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and potential risks
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including site instructions and QA checklists
- Lead project meetings and ensure all close-out documentation is completed and submitted
- Over 5 years' experience in delivering HVAC projects
- Solid understanding of mechanical drawings, installation methods, and system commissioning
- Knowledge of SANS regulations, OEM standards, and HVAC installation best practices
- Experience working with leading HVAC brands
- Proficient with Excel, MS Project, or other project tracking and management tools
- Trade qualification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
