Our client in the Engineering sector is looking for a Project Manager to join their team for a housing project in KwaZulu Natal, KwaDukuza.
Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Project Management.
• Valid Code 08 Driver's License.
• 8+ years' experience in infrastructure projects, with 3+ years in municipal contract management.
• PMBOK or PRINCE2 certification preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans for infrastructure projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all phases of project lifecycles, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with project objectives and municipal requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including municipal authorities, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Manage municipal contracts, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
• Monitor and report on SLA performance metrics, addressing any deviations promptly to maintain service quality.
• Prepare and review job cards to track tasks, labor, and materials for municipal projects.
• Handle project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Manage invoicing processes for municipal contracts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with municipal financial protocols.
• Review and approve contractor and supplier invoices, ensuring alignment with project deliverables.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, job cards, progress reports, and financial records.
• Ensure compliance with municipal policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Apply PMBOK or PRINCE2 methodologies (if certified) to standardize project management processes.
