Job Opportunity: Project Manager at Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator

The Role: Project Manager



You'll play a pivotal role in developing an ecosystem blueprint to scale youth self-employment, especially in the informal economy. You'll convene and coordinate diverse ecosystem players, synthesise group insights, conduct research, and help shape the future of youth entrepreneurship in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:




Synthesise group discussions and solutions after each sprint. Conduct primary and secondary research to strengthen project outcomes. Prepare materials and scope relevant ecosystem players for each sprint. Capture and incorporate feedback from stakeholders. Leverage your networks to convene and include key players. Draft the final ecosystem blueprint. Coordinate meetings, manage documents, and support project logistics.



Minimum Requirements:




Degree in Economics, Business, Politics (ideal). At least 8 years' project management experience, with a strong record in systems change design in South Africa. Deep networks in the South African entrepreneurship and self-employment ecosystem. Experience working with multi-stakeholder groups and facilitating collaboration. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with digital project management tools. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
