Job Description

As a Project Manager you will lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of multiple projects related to IT, warehouse efficiency, human resources databases, and financial viability across all business units. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements, develop project scopes, and ensure clear communication of objectives and deliverables. Oversee the implementation of IT solutions, including new software, databases, and automation tools to support business operations and client requirements.
Key Performance Areas:

  • Drive initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, including workflow optimization, technology integration, and productivity measurement tools.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain human resourcing databases, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and effective reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to evaluate project financials, ensure cost-effectiveness, and support business case development for new initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and impediments, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, documentation, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within project teams
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across all business units, ensuring strategic alignment and delivering measurable impact in areas such as operational efficiency, technology enablement, workforce development, and financial sustainability.
  • Facilitate collaborative project planning, engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to co-develop project scopes, define objectives, and align deliverables with organizational goals.
  • Drive implementation of integrated technology solutions (i.e. software platforms, automation tools, databases) in partnership with IT, HR, operations, and finance teams to enhance enterprise-wide capability.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across business units by enabling data-driven decision-making, streamlining processes, and introducing scalable best practices adaptable to various project types.
  • Champion inclusive communication, ensuring transparency, shared ownership, and timely updates through cross-departmental meetings, project dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to align project outcomes with workforce capability development, talent deployment, organizational structure and operational requirements.
  • Partner with finance and commercial teams to develop robust business cases, monitor project spend, and ensure the financial viability and value creation of all initiatives.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies across business functions early, and co-create mitigation strategies with relevant stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Prepare and present executive-ready insights, leveraging dashboards, analytics, and visual reporting tools to provide updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and innovation, enabling multifunctional teams to deliver on shared priorities and long-term transformation goals.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, ideally within warehousing, logistics, or service-provision environments.
  • Strong IT project implementation experience, with familiarity in warehouse management systems, HR databases, and process automation tools.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring deliverables are met to a high standard.
  • Financial acumen and experience developing business cases and assessing project viability.
  • Formal project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
