Job Description

A leading telco/office automation company seeks the skills and expertise of a Project Manager. This position will be based in Bryanston. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Working closely with the technical team to configure and manage all technical projects within the company. He/she will be responsible for National Projects!
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Matric
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, management, project management)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certifications Highly advantageous
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally with experience in IT projects/ Telecommunications/ Office Automation Industry ESSENTIAL!!!
  • Valid license and own vehicle!
Skills:
  • Project Management Methodologies: Knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems creatively.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Technical Skills: Depending on the industry and project type, specific technical skills may be required.
  • Strong personality who can drive success
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Definition:
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing project plans, and setting timelines.
Resource Management:
  • Identifying, allocating, and managing resources (human, financial, and material) effectively.
Budget Management:
  • Creating and managing project budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Risk Management:
  • Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication:
  • Facilitating communication between stakeholders, team members, and other relevant parties, providing regular project updates.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensuring that the project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders, addressing their concerns, and keeping them informed of project progress.
Project Closure:
  • Ensuring proper project closure, including documentation, handover, and evaluation.
