Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, managing end-to-end (E2E) project functions, and ensuring completion within specifications, on time, and within budget.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience
  • Proven track record in the telecommunications sector
  • Extensive expertise in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Proficient in project management tools and techniques
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and managing competing priorities
  • Background in rollout projects (e.g., FTTH, power, tower, RF)
  • Demonstrated success in operational management
  • At least 1 year in a management position
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Outlook)
  • Ability to compile reports, specifications, and update project-related systems

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
Customer Management (HQ and Regions)
  • Negotiate and meet delivery timelines with customers
  • Provide comprehensive reports and feedback
  • Issue accurate quotes and ensure all work has assigned purchase orders (POs)
  • Supply documentation (e.g., FACs) for invoicing
  • Ensure 100% of completed work is invoiced and updated in customer systems monthly
Contractor Management
  • Oversee contractor performance and allocate work with clear specifications
  • Negotiate pricing and terms, issue POs, and approve payments
Supplier Management
  • Monitor supplier performance, assist in negotiating terms, issue POs, and approve payments
Administration
  • Supervise project admin officer
  • Maintain updated systems (e.g., WO, SAGE, Qbis)
  • Ensure price books are current
COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIPS
  • Maintain professional and cordial relationships with management, staff, and guests
  • Prioritize safety and compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Build trust and confidence through integrity and ethical behavior

GENERAL
