Then look no further.Our entrenched client in Johannesburg is looking for a client-oriented and strategic Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have to work on site with the client to manage and assist with EDI related projects, assist with providing a strategic direction with regards to EDI at the client site, chair customer meetings relating to the project as well as conduct daily, weekly and monthly activity and statistic reports.Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Preferred: A 3-year Degree or similar qualification or Project Management qualification
- 3 or more yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a related IT environment as a Project Manager
- Basic understanding of electronic data interchange, web products and system integration
- Basic understanding of XML
- Basic understanding of communication protocols: FTP, web services etc.
- Some experience or knowledge within a programming environment
