Job Description

Our client in the Educational Publishing industry is currently looking for a Project Manager, in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the project produces the required deliverables of quality within the specified time constraints and costs and achieves the project timelines and deliverables.
• Full project life cycle ownership to ensure successful project delivery, including full implementation from initiation to completion.
• Assist with CSI initiatives and projects within rural areas and schools regarding offering educational textbooks and other equipment for the basic educational sector.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered in the most cost-effective manner to guarantee Gross Profit (GP) or even improve on it, hence keeping operational costs of each project at optimal levels and come in below budget where possible.
• Constant communication and reporting to clients.
• Draw up a training schedule in consultation with relevant stakeholders, ensuring that the schedule meets all agreed objectives.
• Manage risks and implement deviations where necessary and implement new strategies if the project does not follow the schedule.

• Matric.
• NQF level 7 qualification in Project Management or a similar field.
• Key clientele and experience within the basic Educational sector.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in a similar industry and/or role.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Advanced)
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Commitment to excellence, outstanding work ethic and attention to detail.
• Effectively communicate with Senior and Executive Management.
• Valid driverxe2x80x99s licence with own reliable vehicle.

• R35 000 xe2x80x93 R40 000 per month.
