Our client in the Educational Publishing industry is currently looking for a Project Manager, in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the project produces the required deliverables of quality within the specified time constraints and costs and achieves the project timelines and deliverables.
Full project life cycle ownership to ensure successful project delivery, including full implementation from initiation to completion.
Assist with CSI initiatives and projects within rural areas and schools regarding offering educational textbooks and other equipment for the basic educational sector.
Ensure that all projects are delivered in the most cost-effective manner to guarantee Gross Profit (GP) or even improve on it, hence keeping operational costs of each project at optimal levels and come in below budget where possible.
Constant communication and reporting to clients.
Draw up a training schedule in consultation with relevant stakeholders, ensuring that the schedule meets all agreed objectives.
Manage risks and implement deviations where necessary and implement new strategies if the project does not follow the schedule.
Requirements:
Matric.
NQF level 7 qualification in Project Management or a similar field.
Key clientele and experience within the basic Educational sector.
5 - 7 years of experience in a similar industry and/or role.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Advanced)
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Commitment to excellence, outstanding work ethic and attention to detail.
Effectively communicate with Senior and Executive Management.
Valid driverxe2x80x99s licence with own reliable vehicle.
