Upcoming Opportunity in Sudan
We are preparing to bid for a major international digital learning and simulation labs project in Sudan. To build our local team, we are seeking a Project Manager.
Duties
Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project, TFS, or other project management software.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to capture stakeholder needs and expectations.
Implement project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban) tailored to specific project requirements.
Monitor project progress and performance through effective use of SDLC principles and PMBOK guidelines.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that deliverables meet quality standards.
Manage risks and issues proactively while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Prepare status reports and presentations for senior management using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Oversee release management processes to ensure smooth deployment of software solutions.
Utilize analysis skills to evaluate project outcomes and implement improvements for future projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development or IT infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of AWS, SQL, Oracle databases, and cloud computing technologies.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, VersionOne, or Visio.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in disaster recovery planning and IT governance is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
Proficient in test-driven development practices and release management processes.

Requirements:
