Our client is an innovative and dynamic design and development studio specializing in creating immersive virtual reality experiences. Their team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver cutting-edge solutions for their clients.

They are seeking a talented Project Manager to join their growing team remotely based in the Western Cape and contribute to the success of our projects.

Job Overview:

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our virtual reality projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, possess a strong understanding of project management tools like Jira, and have a background working collaboratively with design and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to plan, monitor, and manage project timelines, ensuring efficient and successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to understand project requirements and facilitate effective communication between different stakeholders.
• Employ project management tools such as Jira to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure project transparency.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, challenges, and bottlenecks to keep projects on track.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of work experience in project management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Familiarity with project management tools, such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Background in working with design and development teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in project management, business, or a related field.
• Certification in Agile/Scrum.

This position is remote work for a candidate based in the Western Cape and is full time, Monday-Friday.

Starting date: As soon as possible

Location: Remote work, Western Cape based

Salary: R15 000-R20 000 depending on experience
