Job Description


Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel and sheet metal fabrication, seeks to employ a Project Engineer to join their dynamic and progressive technical operations and projects team.
Please note this is NOT a management role, rather geared toward candidates at a junior to mid-level engineering career level, specifically with a background in fabrication and engineering solutions for the structural steel and high pressure piping sector.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

  • You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 2-3 years experience as a Project Engineer in the heavy engineering and fabrication sector.
  • You will have a solid understanding of high pressure piping, welding/NDT processes and structural fabrication projects
  • You will have a proven track record in coordination of projects from quotation to installation, ensuring safety of all stakeholders, client satisfaction, quality of work within the time and budget.
  • You will have demonstrated expert organisational and problem solving skills, be able to communicate effectively and take ownership of projects to finalization.
  • You will be flexible to travel extensively when required.
  • You must have contactable references, a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
