Project Coordinator Mining Fleet Middelburg

Mining company in Middelburg is seeking to employ a project coordinator to join their busy team.

Efficient Project Management

Ensure all technical projects adheres to timelines, budget and scope

Resolve or escalate all technical and mechanical queries as relating to the project such that project deliverables are not compromised and outcomes comply with regulatory requirements

Ensure implementation of approved quality plan/process complies with project plans and compliance with relevant standards and specifications

Assist with determining project risks and proactively manage risk

Management of preventative maintenance for the Fleet and obtain schedule from operations manager

In collaboration with the workshop manager, ensure all inspections are done

Liaise with the workshop in relation to breakdown to minimise downtime

Ensure all project resources adhere to health and safety standards

Ensure integrated risk management by recording and management safety concerns

Ensure all project resources adhere to relevant company policies, standards and processes

Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to in the delivery of project outputs

Monitor costs or expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste

Explore and highlight opportunities for cost reduction - make recommendations on the most cost-effective way to perform work and to streamline processes

Analyse information to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision-making purposes; generate required reports

Use systems optimally for data management and give input for system improvement and streamlining

Ensure financial documentation is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future requirements as per legislation

Escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costs or financial losses

Main requirements

Grade 12
