Project Business Analysts

As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between information technology and business needs within our organization. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and documenting project details. Your expertise in gathering and interpreting data, coupled with your exceptional communication skills, will be essential in facilitating effective communication between business stakeholders and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their goals, objectives, and challenges. Elicit, document, and analyze detailed business requirements for IT projects, processes, and system enhancements.
• Business Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Work closely with stakeholders to design optimized processes that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
• Solution Design: Translate business requirements into clear and actionable specifications for IT teams. Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and other IT professionals to design innovative solutions that meet business needs.
• Project Management: Assist in project planning, scoping, and estimation. Support Project Manager in monitoring project progress, identify potential risks, and ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.
• Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data from various sources to gain insights into business trends, patterns, and performance. Present findings in a clear and actionable manner to support data-driven decision-making.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop test plans and coordinate UAT efforts with business users to ensure that IT solutions meet business requirements and are user-friendly.
• Change Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of new IT solutions. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to help end-users understand and effectively utilize new technologies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. In collaboration with the Group Architects, evaluate potential IT solutions and provide recommendations based on their alignment with business needs and technological feasibility.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects, with a track record of successful project delivery. (2-3 years)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements elicitation.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) as well as project delivery methodologies (waterfall and agile).
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and software applications.
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
