Provide comprehensive administrative support to the owner, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Gather and present relevant project information to assist in decision-making processes.
2. Project Oversight
Monitor daily site activities and compile progress updates for the owner.
Open and close the project site each day, ensuring compliance with all site security protocols.
3. Financial Management
Request and evaluate supplier and contractor quotations for materials and services.
Perform basic bookkeeping, including expense tracking, budget monitoring, and facilitating timely payments.
Coordinate and process contractor payments in line with agreed milestones and contractual terms.
4. Contractor Management
Oversee contractors on-site to ensure work is completed to specification, on schedule, and to a high standard.
Resolve on-site issues or concerns promptly to maintain project momentum.
5. Material Sourcing
Research and source materials required for the renovation, securing competitive pricing and ensuring timely delivery.
6. Additional Support
Collaborate with Chemence directors on administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and assisting with market research initiatives where required.
Requirements
Proven organisational and administrative skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Basic knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, and project administration.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within a construction, renovation, or project management setting will be advantageous.
Valid drivers licence and own transport preferred.
