SUMMARY:
Program Manager needed at a military vehicle design company in Pretoria-East. This will be a 2-year contract. Engineering degree and a minimum of 15 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the military engineering domainPOSITION INFO:
Program Manager (2-year contract)Pretoria EastThe company specialises in military vehicle design and manufacturing as well as Project Management field.The Program Manager will oversee the successful execution of various projects and all Project Managers within the company.He/ she will ensure that allocated projects are delivered on time and within budget.Minimum Qualification and Experience

• BEng in
• A tertiary qualification in Project Management.
• At least 15 years of experience in a relevant engineering/high tech/ defence industry would be highly advantageous.
• Proven experience working as a Project Manager with a minimum of 15 years experience in managing multiple projects.
• Experience in all facets of the project life cycle

Skills and Attributes needed:

• Extensive experience in Project Management related to Engineering Development, Production, and Product Support.
• The ability to identify and develop operations-focused strategies.
• The ability to participate in and lead the drafting of proposals.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient and profitable execution of allocated programs and related contracts within the constraints of schedule, budget and scope of work.
• Develop, execute, and maintain a project management plan for allocated projects.
• Ensure contractual requirements and objectives, utilising resources effectively over the full lifecycle of the contract.
