Job Description
Our client, a specialist in the pharmaceutical supplies industry, is searching for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee their factory in Pietermaritzburg.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or related qualifications).
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and operations of the factory.
- Lead the overall production team to achieve objectives, and to improve overall efficiency.
- Identify and implement new and improved technologies, as used by competitors, suppliers and customers.
- Ability to understand and meet customer needs and deadlines.
- Effectively interact with various departments and internal structures.
- Prior experience in a similar production environment, handling raw materials.
- Experience within a volume and target driven production environment.
