A dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing company specialising in premium interior projects is looking for a Production Supervisor / Controller to lead their factory team in Sandton. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, operations-driven individual to take control of end-to-end production planning, staff management, and factory operations in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee all manufacturing activities for custom-built projects, ensuring strict quality and timeline compliance
Lead daily production scheduling and resource allocation with the Factory Coordinator
Implement and monitor rigorous quality control processes from raw materials to dispatch
Track material usage, manage inventory, and coordinate with procurement and logistics
Ensure preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep for factory machinery
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and output
Enforce full health, safety, and environmental compliance in the factory
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar production supervision or control role
Strong background in manufacturing (custom-built furniture or related industry preferred)
Excellent leadership, team management, and performance oversight abilities
Advanced understanding of stock control, inventory systems, and production workflows
Health & Safety knowledge and the ability to enforce workplace standards
Relevant technical or production-related qualification (advantageous)
Highly proactive, organised, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
