Job PurposeWe are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations at our Chromite Beneficiation Plant. This role is critical in ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.Youxe2x80x99ll be leading a skilled operations team, driving continuous improvement, and playing a vital role in maximizing plant throughput and recovery.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production activities across the beneficiation plant.
• Ensure plant processes (crushing, screening, gravity separation, etc.) are operating optimally to meet quality and tonnage targets.
• Optimise spiral plant performance to ensure grade specifications are met.
• Monitor plant performance, analyse production data, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance and downtime planning to minimize production losses.
• Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of zero harm.
• Train and mentor plant operators, plant assistants and shift supervisors.
• Liaise with metallurgical, maintenance, and SHEQ teams to ensure integrated operational performance.

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering (advantageous).
• Minimum of 3-5 years'' relevant experience in a metallurgical/processing plant environment.
• Strong experience in chromite or similar ore beneficiation is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a similar or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and plant troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of SHEQ compliance and MHSA.
• Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literacy (MS Office and metallurgical software).
