Job Description
SHOPFITTING & JOINERY PRODUCTION MANAGER
We are a leading shopfitting manufacturing company seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee our factory production.
You will ensure all units and components are ready ahead of schedule and defect-free.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage factory production and scheduling Order materials timely for smooth workflow Draw up and oversee cutting lists Monitor and manage assembly progress Maintain high-quality standards Coordinate finishing in the spray department Conduct final quality checks and sign off orders Lead workshop staff and maintain a disciplined environment Open and close the factory (Monday to friday; occasionally on Saturdays) Ensure health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of the factory
Qualifications & Skills:
Relevant qualification Extensive knowledge of power tools (Skill Saw, Mitre Saw, Jigsaw) and hand tools Ability to read joinery plans and create cutting lists Proficiency with board and timber machining equipment (Spindle Moulders, Surface Planners, Thicknessers, CNC, Beam Saw) Understanding of technical specifications Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship from high-end kitchens to stock room shelving
Requirements:
Positive attitude Self-motivated Punctual (work hours: 7:30 AM start) Willingness to assist as needed
