In2food is a premium food and beverage manufacturer specializing in private label and own brands. An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Production Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is for a Production Manager who will provide the necessary leadership as a change agent, to deliver an effective and efficient medium-long term strategy aimed at continuously (and sustainably) improving the drive to enhanced productivity and lower cost, within a safe environment and in line with the business plan.
Educational requirements
oMinimum of a Degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field; Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Studies etc.
oMinimum of 5 years progressive food manufacturing experience - with a minimum of 3 years in a production/operational role.
oProven knowledge and experience with equipment, process and product design and commissioning - in line with requirement to maintain quality, throughput and effectiveness.
oProven capacity to convert requirements to an achievable output and effective communicator of progress to all business stakeholders.
oDeadline driven within a fast -moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
oEnsure that quality and food safety standards as agreed with Technical manager, are embedded throughout the department and monitored, managed and achieved - using KPI's as effective progress trackers.
oThrough a structured plan contributes towards the site's attainment of annual budget targets and site KPI's.
oEnsure that the departmental structure is balanced to business requirements and is resourced by the appropriate human capital. Develops and maintains fluid and responsive succession and development plans for optimized and sustainable performance across different output levels.
oDrives a safe working environment within the department by ensuring that the business meets world class FMCG standards to achieve aims of the group SHE policy goals.
oDevelops internal and external customer relationships, which inspire confidence in the sites manufacturing capability. Influences and supports other functions within the business to facilitate joint successful delivery.
oCreates an environment conducive to inclusivity, creating a safe space to solicit alternatives and challenge proposals to the status quo
oEnsure timely and effective supply of accurate and effective reporting required to achieve KPI's.
oSet the conduct and interpersonal style and standards - to mindfully shape the culture and ethical framework within which the department and site operates.
oPlan, organize, guide and direct outputs of reports to achieve the objectives of the business.
oCross departmental collaboration to drive successful projects, share knowledge and improve processes.
oTo oversee an efficient, effective department that responds rapidly to fluid and changeable circumstance.
