Job Description

Purpose:

Respond to both internal and external customer requests for product information and pricing.

Objectives/ Principle accountabilities:

Support the local Product Specialist with the help needed to meet the monthly sales target. Preparation and submission of commercial VSD quotations. Pro-actively follow up on quotations and open opportunities. Provide basic telephonic support, with the help of the Electronics team. Working closely with the BMG Electronics Workshop team to ensure customer satisfaction. Dealing with outside suppliers and manufacturing facilities. Expediting and manage the local order backlog and provide local customers with ETAs. Arrange collection and delivery of jobs and related aspects. Support the Product Specialist with customer follow ups and updates of the local CRM opportunities forecast.

Requirements

Education and Work experience:

Understanding of Electrical applications, and electrical functions:

Identifying damage to mechanical and electrical components. Reading and interpreting of electrical drawings Knowledge of electrical practices Knowledge of pumps and electric motors is beneficial
- Grade 12 (Matric).

- Valid Drivers License.

- Residence in the greater Cape Town district.

- Electrical knowledge.

Minimum 1 Years' experience in Sales and/or Workshop.

Must be computer literate.

Must be keen to gain a deeper knowledge of VSD programming.
