Job Description
Key performance areas:
Extraction of technical and commercial information from RFQ's. Handover of relevant extracted technical information for specific product selection by division and ensuring the timeous receipt thereof, for tender compilation. Liaise with customers and suppliers on technical criteria to ensure that the best technical and commercial offer is proposed. Request, Negotiate and Prepare price schedules for all products to ensure competitiveness and RFQ compliance. Maintain and assist in all filing requirements. Management of stockholding of relevant project stock being held for customers. Liaise with workshops and sales on a weekly basis as to capacity, and planning delivery of project orders. Demonstration of the necessary personality and leadership skills to engage and motivate a diverse group of Engineers, Product Managers and suppliers is a must.
Education and Experience:
Matric (Grade 12) Previous Sales and Expediting experience an advantage. Proven ability in planning, expediting, and delivering all documentation needed in the successful implementation of a project. Knowledge of the Kerridge K8 system would be an advantage. Microsoft Project experience would be an advantage.
