INTRODUCTION:
Komatsu South Africa is seeking a Product Service Specialist to join the Mining Division based in Kathu, Northern cape. The successful candidate should have a Trade / 3 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 6 years experience working with Ultra-class mining products interpretation of design drawings and specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Trade / 3 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Familiarises self with customer stakeholders and fleet details
Conducts troubleshooting and diagnostics
Executes repairs for ultra-class machines
Plans for the modification of equipment
Continuously monitors and follows-up on the status of machine down situations
Generates quotes for defects & repairs on equipment
Compiles recommendations report to the Parts/Branch/Depot Manager for additional components, to meet the component change requirements
Completes monthly machine statistics relating to machine down hours, machine availability with detailed explanation
Carries out equipment data downloads and uploads at set frequencies
Completes and sends Field Campaign reports to Product Support & Service Division & submits warranty claims to the National Warranty function within the designated time frame
