Job Summary

This role represents a combination of strong technical, people and leadership skills as well as business acumen. This role requires extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing Xceptor Implementations as well as a passion for learning and understanding features and products emerging in a rapidly changing Xceptor low-code development market. You will be a part of the Apex Group Technology team developing our modern solutions, process development and automation to improve business process efficiencies; provide superior client digital services and support the scaling of our operational model.

As the Xceptor Product Owner, you will be responsible for solution design, road maps, designing automated solutions and managing various automation projects, ranging from low to high complexity. These automation projects could involve several applications and environments. The automation projects will be mainly implemented with many, if not all, of the components of the Xceptor Platform and a team of Xceptor developers, for whom you will actively manage and support.

You will be responsible and accountable for the overall delivery of the Xceptor developer team, from development through to implementation stages, including operationalisation of the solutions.

You will also be responsible for the Xceptor application server, configuration and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders on feasibility and optimization of their processes.
• Manage workload of the Xceptor team, delivering through agile methodologies.
• Manage Optimization build of processes and release of processes.
• Work with Business Users (SMEs and other stakeholders), Business Analysts and your team of Xceptor developers to sign off on the business automation and technical requirements.
• Design automation solutions using Xceptor and other relevant technologies including well-structured Solution Design documentation thereof.
• Manage relationship with the Xceptor vendor and contribute to technology enhancements for new and existing capabilities.
• Decide on the development methodologies and best practices around design, coding, quality, and performance and drive the adoption of these with the Xceptor development team.
• Oversee the development of automation projects by conducting regular check-ins with the Xceptor development team to:

• ensure components are being done according to the solution design and requirements; and
• to identify and resolve bottlenecks/blockers and exceptions.

In addition to overseeing development within the Xceptor development team, you will also be required to develop automation projects yourself.

• Perform code reviews with the Xceptor development team and facilitate knowledge transfers.
• Oversee technical testing with the Xceptor developer and/or Quality Assurance Tester (QA) through all stages of the testing process. In addition to overseeing testing with the Xceptor development team, you will also be required to perform testing for your own automation projects which you have developed yourself.
• Participate and oversee in all stages of the automation project lifecycle, including production deployment, hypercare, and monitoring.
• Define and create technical documentation for the automations developed, according to global best practices.
• Manage Xceptor application upgrades, maintain database and application server to stay at the cutting edge of the technology. This includes testing latest available feature components and configurations.
• Responsible for educating the business on best practices and how Xceptor can assist them.

• Experience and Education

• Bachelorxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s degree in computer science, or similar field.
• Minimum of 3+ yearsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 demonstratable experience in a senior technical role, application ownership, designing and implementing solutions using Xceptor.
• Proven successful delivery of solutions resulting in cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Experience on Microsoft .NET and API development
• Microservices, API and Event Driven Architecture
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases
• Advance experience with standard tools used for software development such as git, VSTS etc.

• Xceptor Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of all components of the Xceptor Platform and the way they are integrated, Data Hub, Reconciliation Hub, Process Orchestrator, Workflow, Confirmations, Document management & generation, OCR, out-of-the-box and bespoke connectors, API, API gateway etc.
• Knowledge of Xceptor application configuration and setup;

• Xceptor core Database, stored procedures, dataflow views
• Xceptor application configuration

• All Input channel types
• 100% understanding of Xceptor application configuration and ability to develop your own custom functions, query lists, delivery destinations.
• Ability to create translational views from various sources, SQL, Oracle.
• Message Hub configuration
• Datasets setup/configuration and archive scheduling
• Management of application resources to ensure the Xceptor application performance meets processing demands.
• Understanding of Xceptor architecture, and most efficient build method for processes.
