Job Description

Market Research & Analysis



Conduct in-depth market research in the assigned region, including sales trends, operational conditions, usage scenarios, and competitor insights.



Analyze policies, regulations, and industry developments impacting the commercial vehicle market.



Product Strategy & Optimization



Define regional product requirements, including new product introductions, feature enhancements, and competitive positioning.



Identify opportunities for product improvements to boost market competitiveness.



Technical & Sales Support



Provide technical expertise and support for dealership products.



Collaborate with sales, service, and engineering teams to ensure product alignment with market needs.



Experience :



Local Market Expertise:



Residency/wrk experience in the region, with fluency in the local language and English or Chinese.



Strng familiarity with key cities, cultural nuances, and business practices.



Automotive Industry Background:



Degree r professional experience in vehicles, machinery, automotive sales, or service (adjust based on regional requirements).



Knwledge of commercial vehicle types, applications, and industry trends.



Technical & Soft Skills:



Prficient in MS Office; graphic design software skills (e.g., Adobe) are a plus.



Strng analytical, communication, and project management skills



Valid lcal driver's license (minimum C1; B-level or higher preferred).



Cultural Alignment:



Strng affinity for crporate culture and positive attitude toward cross-cultural collaboration.



Education & Certifications



Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.



MBA (preferred but not mandatory) for senior roles.



Certifications in Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute) or Automotive/Truck Industry (e.g., ASE Certification) are a plus.



Industry Experience



3+ years in product management, sales, or marketing within the trucking, automotive, or heavy equipment industry .



Familiarity with commercial vehicles (light/medium/heavy-duty trucks) and their specifications.



Knowledge of emission standards, fuel efficiency technologies, and telematics .



Key Skills & Competencies



Market Research & Analysis - Ability to analyze industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs.



Product Lifecycle Management - Experience in launching, promoting, and phasing out truck models.



Sales & Marketing Support - Ability to train sales teams and develop marketing strategies.



Technical Knowledge - Understanding of truck specifications (engine types, payload, towing capacity, etc.).



Dealer & Customer Engagement - Strong communication skills to work with dealers, fleet managers, and OEMs.



Data-Driven Decision Making - Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce), Excel, and analytics platforms.



Soft Skills



Leadership & Collaboration - Works with engineering, sales, and supply chain teams.



Problem-Solving - Addresses customer pain points and market challenges.



Negotiation Skills - Works with suppliers, manufacturers, and dealership networks.



Additional Requirements



Willingness to travel (to dealerships, trade shows, and manufacturing sites).



Knowledge of regulatory standards (DOT, EPA, CARB compliance).
