We're looking for a

Product Head - Alliances

to build and lead a world-class

Alliance product suite

, driving Lesaka's partnerships with global payment networks, challenger banks, and fintech disruptors. This is a unique opportunity to

design, launch, and scale an alliance model

that redefines fintech collaboration in South Africa.

What You'll Do

As the Product Head for Alliances, you'll be responsible for the

end-to-end strategy, development, and execution

of Lesaka's Alliance offering:

Design and deliver

a complete Alliance product ecosystem, combining issuing, acquiring, and embedded finance capabilities.

Develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies

that position Lesaka as the fintech partner of choice for schemes, and payment innovators.

Collaborate with major network schemes

(Mastercard, Visa, PayInc, etc.) to launch and scale joint offerings under the alliance framework.

Work with strategic partners

to co-create products that are differentiated, scalable, and compliant with the South African regulatory environment. Lead cross-functional collaboration across finance, operations, technology, and compliance to deliver a seamless product experience. Continuously refine

pricing, commercial models, and partnership structures

to ensure long-term profitability and growth. Stay ahead of

industry trends

, evolving payment technologies, and digital banking innovations to guide the alliance product roadmap.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree

in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA advantageous).

10+ years' experience

in payments, digital banking, or fintech product management.

5+ years' experience

in alliance banking or strategic partnership roles. Strong understanding of

payment network economics

,

issuing and acquiring models

, and

banking-as-a-service frameworks

. Proven track record in

GTM development

,

product lifecycle management

, and

multi-stakeholder partnerships

. Deep knowledge of

South African regulatory frameworks

(SARB, PASA, FIC, POPIA). Exceptional

strategic, commercial, and communication skills

-- comfortable influencing executives and partners alike. A

self-starter

who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving complex problems, and leads with vision and collaboration.
