Make a difference as Product Developer at Enza Zaden
As a Product Developer at Enza Zaden, you will play a key role in the successful introduction of new vegetable seed varieties. Your work will directly impact variety selection, product positioning, and commercial success. You will trial and evaluate experimental varieties, coordinate local trials, and provide critical technical support to internal teams and customers. In this role, you will:Drive portfolio performance: Maximize the output of the product portfolio in your crop and area of responsibility and contribute to the development of new product lines. Plan and execute trials: Develop, coordinate, and implement trial plans that support decision-making in product advancement and release. Evaluate and report results: Analyze trial outcomes and provide clear, data-driven reports to internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Breeding, and Sales. Support variety introductions: Help position new Enza Zaden varieties through technical support, product training, and effective communication to sales teams, customers, and prospects. Scout for innovation: Identify promising experimental varieties through local screening and global collaboration, and actively participate in new variety decision processes. Ensure reliable trial supply: Coordinate and manage seed supply for trial purposes, ensuring timely availability and accurate tracking.

What you bring as a future colleagueAt least 3 years technical agricultural background Qualification in Agriculture related diploma, degree or certification. Located in Gauteng or willing to relocate. Strong communication, analytical, collaborative and ability to interact with diverse group of people Agricultural background and love for working in the field and with plants. Willingness to travel.
