Our

Underground Mining

team relies on close collaboration with our customers to develop equipment and support solutions that are customized for their application. We're focused on helping our customers mine safely and productively today, and we have an eye on the future, with new products, new ways of mining, and new ways to get more out of game-changers like technology and automation.

Job Summary:



Supports go-to-market initiatives, and sales execution as a subject matter expert for hard rock underground mining machines.

About the role / What will you do:



Provide product and application expertise as a trusted advisor to customers as well as company and dealers' sales personnel. Conduct internal and external training on product capabilities and safe and efficient usage of underground mining equipment. Conduct product performance studies, assess customer job site efficiency, collect product and customer requirements in order to create input for product improvement process and new product introduction programs. Work with the marketing team to create internal and external communication highlighting solutions for underground mining.

What You Have - Skills And Experiences:




Qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent experience in underground mining


3 - 5 years Underground Mining experience


MS Office Suite

Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.



Negotiating:

Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.



Relationship Management:

Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.



Technical Excellence:

Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.



Value Selling:

Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Additional Information:



Onsite, five days a week in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. Relocation will not be supported.
