Our client is looking to employ a Procurement Specialist xe2x80x93 Renewable

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and co-ordinate ordering of replenishing stock at all Branches and Warehouses
• Take a strategic and long-term view of procurement in identifying and developing innovative sources and contractual arrangements. Implement supply chain networks and strategies within the department to ensure day to day operations run optimally
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly, goods are dispatched on time and that any queries are resolved timeously
• Ensuring all logistics of stakeholders are known and functioning efficiently
• Responsible for the purchasing and supply management activities for Solar.
• Work closely with key stakeholders in our Corporate Division to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
• Help identify critical business requirements and provide sourcing and procurement services that meet expectations.
• Leverage extensive market and supplier knowledge to drive lower TCO.
• Provide insight on how to best develop and leverage Supplier capabilities for the organization.
• Primary point of contact for overall category needs. Responsible for prioritizing demand globally and nationally across the category.
• Negotiate with suppliers during the sourcing review.

Requirements

• Successful 3-5 year experience in Solar Procurement - B Degree/NQF Level
• Matric / Grade 12/Equivalent/ RPL (Recognition for Prior Learning)
• Extensive knowledge of category technologies and products
• MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
